Our Vision: A Nonviolent City, where everyone strives to promote nonviolence, where all institutions teach nonviolent skills, where violence no longer runs rampant.
Our Mission: To partner with our city’s organizations, government entities and community members, toward cooperation and collaboration to realize the Vision of a Nonviolent City.
Our Goals and Objectives:
- To invest in education, training, and development programs;
- To increase awareness and engagement in nonviolent policies and practices;
- To bring together local community organizations and individuals that are committed to a society with a balance of prosperity, security, justice and hope.
- To dismantle the structures and systems that lead to violence throughout Joliet and beyond.
